Are you new to HBC, a visitor, or interested in attending our church? You'll find that Harbor Baptist Church is the ideal place for you and your family!

 

We are conveniently located in northern Charlotte, just minutes from Interstate 85. You can easily get directions to the church from anywhere by clicking here.

Where Would I Fit In?

With adult Bible classes for young and old alike; classes for children and teenagers; and our Spanish Congregation, there is a place for you! Everyone is welcome at Harbor Baptist Church! Our membership is made up of every shape, size, color, and background you could imagine.

 


What About My Child(ren)?

We provide first-class nurseries and child-care for your newborn or baby, where they will be kept safe and well supervised. Every parent will be provided with a pager so that the nursery staff can notify that parent if assistance is needed or an emergency occurs. Our nursery staff is well-trained and experienced; we are good at what we do.

 


What Should I Wear?

There is no strict dress code to attend our public services, but in case you're wondering, a majority of our church members wear their "Sunday best"—the men in a dress shirt and dress slacks, typically with a tie, and the women in modest dress.

 

 

Something For Everyone

Sunday - 9:30 am

Our bus service is divided up into several different groups. We will be glad to help you get to your class!

  • Our adult service, taught by Pastor Farrington, is considered to be the most exciting service of the week!
  • All the teenagers are welcomed in our Teen Service, taught by our Youth Director, Bro. John Hash.
  • Bro. David Goodson, the Outreach Director here at Harbor, has a special heart for the children's church, where all of the kids will enjoy games, a Bible story, and a puppet show!

 

Sunday - 11:00 am

This is a great service to attend if you are considering visiting our church. You can get a feel for our church family, hear our Pastor preach, and we invite every visitor to stay and each lunch at our "visitor's reception," where you will have an opportunity to meet the Pastor, our church staff, and some of the families from our congregation!

 

Sunday - 6:00 pm

For our Sunday night service, we all come together as a family. You will likely get a chance to hear our church choir, and see some faces you didn't see on Sunday morning, because they were all out working in our bus ministry. If you really want to experience the true spirit of Harbor Baptist Church, then this is the service for you.

 

Wednesday - 7:00 pm

There is always something going on on Wednesday nights, like our "Wednesday Nights of Great Preaching" during the Summer months! During the rest of the year, we start up our mid-week youth programs with our "Teens4Truth" club, and "The Master & Me" for the younger kids! Don't miss out on our "Operation Go" program, where you can learn how to clearly tell someone else how they can know for sure that they will go to Heaven when they die! (I John 5:13)
